Ducks, does anyone have some experience with game anticheat systems like this UAC or TZAC?
If they are fine I would suggest tjhat we consider a general introdcution of such systems to prevent cheat program usage, unfair scripting etc.

Both of those are designed to only be used in official etpro matches. The support of TZAC was stopped (with rumours the guy built a virus into the anticheat after they stopped paying him for creating it, but not sure how much of that is confirmed), and UAC is only used in Cybergamer matches and is not ment for public nor ETPro. (As well as the fact they both need seperate clients downloaded to play, which wont work on the TWC servers)

i remember i got a virus from tzac long time ago, wouldnt play anymore on a server that requires separate program to download

I would so much like an auotmated systems that kick cheating an scripting tricky-shitty basterds at the point of connecting to our servers.:P

There is, it's called PunkBuster. But everyone stopped using it because it sucks, doesn't detect half of the private cheats (though i'm pretty sure it will get rid of a bunch of cheaters on ND), and kicks for people with outdated PB with random cvar errors (there goes the rest of the playerbase)

Punkbuster is 1000x better than any other anticheat ever made in ET.

nitmod has nxac atleast but yeah PB is better any other AC in ET.

Punkbuster is a useless piece of garbage... Maybe in 2003 it did something useful, these days it doesn't.
