Increased inactivity - Ligustah - 29-07-2017
Hello guys,
as most of you will have noticed we - the MSTs - and especially I have been increasingly inactive and unresponsive over the past few weeks and months. Unfortunately this is a trend that is very unlikely to come to a stop. Going forward I will have much less time for basically anything, and even then doing clan stuff is frankly not something that I see myself doing a lot in my scarce spare time. The good news is that quite obviously nobody here really needs us. The supremes are doing a fantastic job maintaining their servers and are very well supported by all their members. We will continue funding and maintaining the infrastructure to run TWC and we will continue to step in if we see the need, but in general we will be relying on the community to manage itself to a higher degree in future. This means giving more power and responsibilities to people, who we think will use them to make this a better place and in particular, we hope that the occasional drama can be handled internally without us having to take action.
We made a similar posts for the supremes a few weeks back and already gathered early feedback on what is needed to minimize dependencies on us. So here we are listening to your opinions. What is blocking you from delivering your desired impact? What tools can we provide for you to become self-sufficient?
We still have a few things prepared that will hopefully be implemented soon, but I just cannot give any guarantees for the future anymore.

i'm a "new school" here but i found a friendly and responsive community. Cannot commend enough the welcome i had. Thus i'm really sure that stuff will keep going for good, regardless of up and downs, since as far i saw in my brief time in the clan, we have really good and helpful admins.

Real life is more important for you guys than this clan right now so it is perfectly fine with being inactive. Infact, i hope whatever it is, enjoy it

I am somehow glad and sad at once to see this thread but as Thrasher already said RL is more important. I am not the only one who rejoined because I think that things are running really good now. Keep on focusing on what really matters and once you are done with that we will be glad to see you on the servers again. Keep it up!

That is great to hear. I'm really just trying to manage expectations here. It's very unlikely that I'll be done in the foreseeable future (read years).

Lig, as someone that left TWC when was supreme and HA for a long time bcs of real life, I know how it feels. When you appointed me as sniper supreme, my health issues skyrocketted and had to go to hospital. I know how hard and annoying it is when you have things to do, want to help and simply do not have time for it.
All people have to do is tell and everyone will understand, really. It's a pity not everyone do so.

We need you to keep servers playable and forums online.
You are a legend although never been in contact with you.
Knowing that one of you real OG`s are at least are sometimes is online at forum is important for me atleast.
Thanks for all the effort YOU and other OG admins have done for The Wrecked Commanders.
