Building Custom Jaymod Src (archived by Thrasher) - andyyy - 13-02-2017 Hey everyone, Just wanted to let those who are interested in building (or adding on) custom Jaymod know that my latest src is on Github.com. Sn4cky will be merging with his changes as well for a mod with more features, but if you would like to get started now in playing around with it and seeing the changes made for the Fast Panzer features, feel free to do an SVN checkout. My github is located here... https://github.com/andyyy78/jaymod-andy You can also look at 2 instruction files I've created for building on Windows and/or Linux. Those are located here... https://github.com/andyyy78/jaymod-andy/tree/andyhead When you do a checkout, you'll want to make sure you use the andyhead branch of source as the master is just a replica of Jaymod 2.2.0. The andyhead branch is the one with all of my changes for Fast Panzer features. The instructions walk you through setting up a build machine for Windows or Linux Ubuntu. Once you get source, a way to see all of my related changes would be to look for AndyStutz in the comments. I included them almost everywhere a change was made. Otherwise you can always look at the version history and compare code changes with the original src from Jaymod 2.2.0. I hope this helps get some people started that would be interested in making Jaymod even better. If you are serious about getting involved and have a handle on object oriented programming, contact Sn4cky as he will be continuing with ongoing development. Happy programming! ![]() ~Andy - PanzerPartier RE: Building Custom Jaymod Src - Thrasher - 08-03-2017 this is nice! |
