Recent developments within the clan - Ligustah - 05-11-2016
Hello everybody,
I don't often get involved with non-technical stuff surrounding the clan, because for most parts I think it's looking good. As the clan matured over the years, so did the members (one would hope so, at least) and I have always preferred getting out of the way and let the members manage themselves.
Recently, however, we (the MSTs) have noticed an increasingly disturbing trend of unwarranted hostility and rivalry between some groups of members and servers. We're not going to watch this go on for much longer. The only reason this clan even exists today is because I chose to keep it running for as long people were having fun. If the only way of having fun for some people is mocking and harassing others and spreading FUD, those people should reconsider their position in the clan and their membership status altogether. This is not what we (or people donating) are paying for. If those people apparently enjoy it so much, how about they spend some of their own money and create a place for all the mean people to gather and piss off each other? I don't believe a single tear would be shed for those leaving.
The people I'm addressing here (I can only hope they understand that I'm talking to them) may consider this a friendly reminder that this community is supposed to work together, not against each other. Nothing against some trolling here or there, satire, or friendly banter among friends, but some people have definitely crossed a line.
We feel the friendly majority deserves no less than a nice environment to enjoy this game in and we're going to use everything at our disposal to make sure it continues to be that way. There will be no discussions once we have to take action.

PS: Just to make sure everybody gets this: We're not trying to hinder development of diverse opinions or stop constructive discussions. We're trying to embrace and encourage freedom of speech wherever possible, as long as it remains constructive. However, easily the best thing about freedom of speech is that you are free to keep it to yourself. Think about it.

I really hope this BG vs. HS "war" could stop and people would get along. Sometimes sacrifices have to be made for the greater good, but I'm not sure if it's even necessary in this case. People should be able to sort this out like adults.

Did notice some stuff going on in shoutbox from time to time, but didn't see anything going to far.
Anyway like said before, it is not need for these "fights" to occur. Both are equal servers wich bring fun to
different people. So just accept the opinion of one person to another that likes one server (playstyle) more then the other.

I'm glad that someone finally noticed the problem. I hope that the problem will be solved after this thread.
