Reduce amount of downloads (archived by NightFall) - Killa - 24-08-2016
I can't tell if this what causing players to disconnect but you can clearly see some players who try to connect the server and then disconnect at download process. my suggestion is that you'll reduce (or remove it completely) till server gains some more activity and later think about adding it back.
most of the players wouldn't leave a server because they need to download something but they might never get there in the first place if they do.

i think beginners:P well we do get some nice poeple lately so idk and yes the soundpack is big but also great:P

Well, we already have a no-download server for the people who hate to download, the players who like a more modified server (sound packs+ maps etc ) can join BG or HS if they like, i dont see the use to have 2 no-download servers if the first one doesnt reach the full player potential
In the end, its all the players preference

Common we live in 21st century and internet connection is very fast these days,it took maximum 1 min to download all or maybe less too...

just want to mention that I already have these files,I'm not saying this for me to play,I just see lots of people who try to connect and leave without finishing their download and there aren't much possibilities for that its either they connected to the wrong server,had issues with downloading or just didn't want to wait that much

Players who dont want to sacrifice about 4 mins of downloading (at beginners server) are one option what shock said. No Downloads server.
Usually if theres alot of downloads i just grab a coffee and go for smoke and let it download all the files what are needed.
Indeed people nowadays have faster internet speeds so 3-5 min of download isnt big chunk from playtime
