Summer Meeting 2017 - Mimus - 13-08-2016
Heya,
july is over and so is the summer meeting of 2016. The next step now is ofc to start thinking about the meeting next year!
Known fact is that we were twice in the netherlands now because thats where a lot of people in the clan come from and therefore quite a lot have a chance to come to the meeting.
The meeting this year was in germany rather close to the dutch border because we could get a house for free for these 2 weeks we had the meeting going.
What we would like to do though is try to have the meeting take place somewhere else.
We tried it once with a meeting in Dresden, Germany (which is basically in the east of germany --> rather close to poland, czech republic etc.). Unfortunately, NOBODY came, even though we had people living there.
The assumption is that is was still a bit too far for some, or others were a little bit too young for a meeting at that time.
Now, after having a talk with mega, we thought about trying the outside-of-nl/germany-thing again.
Megaslow lives in slovenia, and according to him the landscape is beautiful, lots of nature, lakes, rivers, the sea (depening on where you wanna go to) AND you can get whole holiday homes for just a few bucks a week.
Before we however start planning the meeting and choosing eventual holiday homes we have to find out if there are even people interested in coming.
I know for some of the dutch people it might be too far to come (its about 11 hours with a car), but ofc we would all be happy if you would still manage to come. Same goes for everyone else who lives rather far away from slovenia.
Who I am talking to right now the most though are the people from the countries around slovenia. Croatia, Slovakia, Hungary, Bosnia&Herzegovina, maybe even Serbia, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy?

Sounds cool,but for me the next summer will be busy one.I'll have a big exam after finish the 12th grade (finishing high school) which is needed in order to pursuit further studies or to get a job.

If the meeting was in slovenia there woldnt be a problem for me to come,and i think its a lot closer to many others +slovenia is cheap xD

YEEEEEEES, would love for u people to come in slovenia, count me in for a meeting, and i could always take u on a tour here.If u decide for slovenia,austria and croatia u can count on me for help.
