Unacceptable names (archived by NightFall) - fewfish - 13-04-2016
Some time ago I followed a discussion here about some guy calling himself Hitler-something and how this was unacceptable. NB, I fully agree.
Just the other day there way a guy on No Download server with the name of war criminal (Radko Mladic) from the 90' who now awaits his verdict in Den Haag. This should also be unacceptable. I have written a line in general chat when I saw it and complained about it, but no one bothered to react. I remember there was one TWC guy on the server at that time.
As described here and without a video, there is not much to be done I suppose, but I just felt I should write something.
In my opinion there should be no room on game servers for this kind of propaganda, and zero tolerance for people who do it.

I also think server would be much more of a beautiful place if there was no names of such disgusting pigs like of that 'man' being used

I understand, I seen this Radko guy but i thought he is a singer.
nvm, ill warn him to change his name the next time i see him. If he wont listen ill tell my friends(high admins) to rename him.

We try our best to keep any form of propanganda out of our servers, be it names or any other form of communication.
However, we can not possibly know every single "bad guy" from all over the world and all over the centuries.
E.g., if you see someone on the server named "Albert Speer", would you know he was Hitlers architect and continued building concentration camps and stuff? Probably not.
We thank you for telling us about that inappropriate name on our server and will do our best to keep it and other names/communications out of the game.

Keeping a healthy server is not an easy task I can imagine, and I think you are doing a great job as it is. Please don't get me wrong.
There will always be someone sneaking under the radar, but if Alfred comes along I wouldn't worry... with Albert, it is another story

I saw this guy, but I did not know who was the person with the nick. There I also saw a single complaint from other players. He sat quietly and played himself. Well, they are telling us about it

And if you look at page 137 of ND Ban proof you can see that he's supposed to be banned for cheating.

technical speaking we are all badboys, cause the game is a reflexion of. and we are all playing it.:P
but indeed inappropriate names are not nice and not allowed cause we see it as just a shooting game and i think most poeple do.
