Cant connect to TWC servers(failed to resolve etguidauth.evenbalance.com) (archived by NightFall) - Davu - 16-03-2016
Hey, I earlier today played in NoDownload server and at night I could not connect to your server anymore.
I am getting this message: Pb client: failed to resolve etguidauth.evenbalance.com.
I have guid and I have pb enabled and I dont know how to fix this.
So i thought that you might know a way to beat this problem so I can continue playing in ND ASAP.

Reinstalled ET, still doesnt work, I have my etkey on my desktop and in your database tho. Tried to pbsetup but i dont have file called pbns.dat that everyone on google guides are talking about.

your etkey is in your etmain folder ? you did mention it being on your desktop, that's not where it belongs lol

update your PB PB & NEW ETKEY and remember to save your original Etkey before doing this.
if this dont help then try to type /PB_cl_enable in console ( this will reset ur xp so id recommend to move your original etkey to somewhere else then run PB installer i provided you with link and then replace your original ETKEY back to etmain).
IF none of these help i think its your firewall blocking punkbuster traffic.
AND if you just reinstalled ET remember to run it in compatibility mode (win xp) and 'Run as Administrator' so you dont get any new errors. (only if using windows 10/8/7 )

if nothing works you can always reinstall with this link (contains an auto pb updater too)

Megan, installed and ran etPBsetup and replaced the newly generated etkey(I guess thats what you call it) with my old one and now It atleast lets me connect to game and I still got my xp. Thanks for the fast response.

Worked for like 8hours, then when I was ingame as specator and came back to computer, it was disconnected due to some punkbuster error (said the console). Now tried etPBsetup again and still the same failed to resolve etc etc..
