Hello guys
Im "new" here. I was member 6 years ago :P.
everytime i want to laod my cfg its says couldnt exec autoexec.cfg and my settings arent safed.
And what can i do against laggs some member of your clan told me something with cl_r.... this worked for me until i disconnected pls help me :O

For the cfg part I would like to ask what do you type when you try to exec it :P Would help if I knew what causes troubles. Your cfg has to be in the ./Enemy Territory/etmain/ folder. When you want to exec it you have to type /exec "name".cfg. If you've done everything how I wrote down then it should work :P For the lag part, it's probably because your settings aren't good. Try typing /cl_maxpackets 100 and /rate 25000, if you have fps lags then try setting /r_primitives 2 and that's all I think.

the problem ist i cant do it in my cfg because i cant load it i think its a problem with windows 7 because when i safe the txt as .cfg didnt work to i had to take other cfg file and copie it and still dont work
i got it in etmain
/exec autoexec.cfg
when i palyed this game 6 years ago i wrote a lot of cfgs but i dont know anymore how it works but i think i did everything right :/

Well if the problem is in the cfg then would you mind uploading it somewhere maybe we could take a look at it
Maybe something's wrong inside the cfg indeed.

be sure your cfg is a .cfg file and not .txt, windows 7 won't let you write directly into C:/enemy territory/etmain by default so you have to save your CFG somewhere else first, for example on your dekstop, and copy it afterwards
but i did something for you anyways : copy this in your etmain folder
EDIT: i also found out notepad is being a #@#[@[ and not letting you save as a .cfg file mehh

it's because there are a lot of weird characters in your cfg
i corrected it a bit tell me if it works now, i didn't script in some time though so it might still be bad xD
