ET won't start (archived by NightFall) - Bread - 23-08-2015
Okay, I noticed today that when I try to launch ET it crashes instantly, through Steam or not. This seems to happen with all of my ET installations, I have no fucking idea what happened. There's no error, ET just stops responding instantly.
This is the weirdest problem I've ever had in ET, anyone know how to miraculously fix it?
I've tried
Through Steam
3 different installs
Same error.

* does the game just quits? or it doenst repsond/freezes?
* when did the problem start to occur and what changed be4 that point on?
* does the game goes fullscreen be4 it crashes or only the startup screen?
* do you use a cfg? or plain ET
* do you have the latest drivers installed?

* try a new install without the cfg just to rule out its the cfg
* is it possible to make a /condump [name].txt right be4 it crashes?

Sounds simple, but you ran ET as administrator?

It was my graphics card. A simple PC restart fixed the problem. Thanks anyways
