Hey guys,
The first time a entered the TWC servers again i downloaded the quik TWC menu. only the problem is that this menu is outdated with old server IP'S in it. Is there a updated one available??
I'm not the only one who has this problem. Guests in our server will get this also.

You have got ET Starter Pro in our download section.
If you don't want to install it, there is good, old /connect ....twcclan.org

Yeah well.
it's just the file. Every guest that enters our server manually via the server list in Wolf ET will download the file but you cant do anything with it.....
Can't it just be removed from the file config / download config at all servers? If I delete the file in my PC / laptop I will download it again if I join a server from TWC
Why would you let people download a file which is useless and outdated?

The TWC menu is actually kind of a sad story. We've had various people update it throughout the years, but for reasons that are probably best described as technical debt, we cannot easily replace the current one.
I can, however, see that it's somewhat confusing to still offer the old menu, so we might just break some stuff to get the new one online. I'll think about it and will probably post more on this sometime this week.

If I'm not mistaken, dominator or someone made a fix for it already. I think it is the one attached in my post. It was in my jaymod folder but when I move it to the etmain, remove the older versions and exec ET, it works fine. And it uses the "***.twcclan.org" ip's to connect.

The problem is that the old menu is present on PW, NAM and TJ, and is forced to be downloaded on connect, the file is in etmain, and is called ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~{.pk3
Basically you should either remove it, or update it so everyone will have the updated version.

Had a YCN server before (Don't now if you guys use it to) with a old friend of mine and in that server I could replace all files directly without any problems.
So can't we replace the old file with the one above?
I think it's very important to give our guests the usefull menu's and not bugged.. :/

It's a problem with how the ET engine handles pk3 downloads. We cannot simply replace the current menu. We'll need to delete this one, and add the new menu. While this should work perfectly fine for all players actually connected to the servers (thanks to sv_pure), it will most likely be overruled by the old menu locally. Like when you start up ET without connecting it would use the old menu, unless we tell everybody to delete their local copy, which is basically what I meant with requiring a breaking change.
However, I can see that at least fixing the menu for connected players is probably worth the confusion of some players.
