Changing the mod from Jaymod to something close to Etpro (archived by AgentHani) - Lime - 21-03-2015

I would like to gather some opinions about changing the mod in our brilliant yet still inactive HS server. The good thing about headshot is that it's designed specifically for fragging and people like that. However, there needs to be skill involved and with Jaymod hitboxes it cannot be taken seriously. So I suggested earlier that we should try Etpro instead of Jaymod.
Somebody said that it's not a bad idea but Etpro has a fundamental flaw with the adminlevel systems. IF I'm not mistaken there should be an add-on for this sort of thing, so that you can simply download this adminsystem for Etpro.
I'd still go for the Etpro but if we can't use it, what would be the best? Or should we continue using Jaymod?

I don't think I'm telling a big secret if I say that we've been working on changing Headshot's mod but we had something else in our minds. We rather not have etpro but nitmod on the HS server as well, Tim even set up a testserver using same settings and it worked out pretty well. Now we're waiting for the MST to take action. Stay tuned! Biggrin

Btw etpro and jaymod have the same hitboxes, jaybird used the same hitboxes since he got them from the developer of etpro. no change Biggrin

I haven't played N!tmod very long so don't know how that will turn out, but maybe an other option is Silent, cuz I think that is one of the only mod's that they keep working on and improving. (if I'm wrong tell me Tongue )
But yes, it has to change

And recently tried nitmod and it felt a lot like etpub to me Biggrin

I always like to see changes that r about to happen and for some reason,

I Agree to change Jaymod to N!tmod, cuz n!tmod is better as what most of the peoples suggested ;p.

Will be patient for that Biggrin

I don't know what difference you feel but JayBird himself said that he used the exact etpro hitboxes when he created JayMod Biggrin

I agree with nitmod , can any1 explain me the difference between etpub and nitmod anyway ? besides the leaning thing

btw i agree with lime , etpro feels different than jaymod Biggrin ....feels as if i am improving....well unless the 5 stars thingy makes that much difference lol
