One of our members claimed to have reinstalled ET with a new etkey, I suppose without saving the old one. He would like to have his earlier battle levels and XP and I want to help him. I think I could copy his earlier data and paste them to his new GUI in server XPsave file, but I wonder if there is a more elegant solution.
I have his old GUI in this file but the GUI data (a hexadecimal code line...?) does not coincide with the numbers in etkey file. I would like to ask you if you know a way to convert/decrypt this GUI into an etkey file, as in that way I could recreate and send him the old etkey file simply.

Short answer: no
It's possible in theory, but takes a lot of computing power (think days or weeks), and at least a vague knowledge of when the key was created. I'm not entirely sure how the keys that etkey.org produces look like, but if he did get it there, it may be entirely unfeasible to reverse.
