How's your CPU? - Trivi - 12-11-2014

Just curious about what your Central Processing Unit specs are (core voltages, speed and how many).

It is essential to your gaming to have overclocked your CPU (as I have) and even GPU (graphics card).
CPU-Z is a pretty unique and cool mini program to overview your specs. So let's compare and share! Smile

Here's my processor and how it looks like for the time being:

Voltage is a bit high for Phenom but it'll do. This is actually what I bought for 63 euros. I cud get a lot better one in performance for just a 100 euros.

You guys have real smooth and nice specs. That's how it shud be for gamers!
Not that it matters when playing ET. Smile

Here's some more specs:

... and I also have a Corsair 750W power supply.

In December I'm gonna install some more RAM from 4GB to 8GB (since I have 64-bit)
and purchase a new HDD (2TB, 7200RPM 64MB SATA III 6Gb/s).
The best performance can be found in a SSD but they cost a fortune.

Tips for Dejo:
You shud overclock your Bus speed, it gives you more GHz (you can get it a lot better and just get the best out of it so that it will be of use).
I have it at 204 so when you mess with it start at 195 and raise it by 1-2 to test it (strain/burden it with a high performance
game or prime95 or just simply AMD Overdrive). If it crashes, then it'll give you either a blue or black screen and restarts itself.
Then just raise your core voltage to 1.300-1.400 depending on your system and processor.
Given that you have that Intel core processor, you can get easily at least 4.00GHz, maybe even 4.50Ghz (always check your voltages in case they get very high).
Also with your great ATI Radeon graphics do you have GPU Tweak? You can get real amazing graphics by overlocking your graphics card with that program.
It is of huge use and you can spot the difference when you have overclocked your GPU, I can tell, worked for me perfectly!
So once at GPU Tweak, raise typically GPU Core (MHz) to 800 at first, then try 900 and 1000. Also put your Memory clock (MHz) up to 5000, maybe even 6000 if possible.
