Sceen Problems (archived by John) - IcenCow - 26-06-2014 The sceenshots will hopefully tell you more than I am able to. It seems to be a problem with refreshing the sceen, and yeah, I should probably note that this was on the Vietnam server, but I've had the same problem on other servers. I simply didn't play on those... If anyone has any theories, please share them! Sceenshots: http://1drv.ms/1lZ8jt0 RE: Sceen Problems - djuki - 26-06-2014 no idea.. Do you use a cfg file? Have you tried reinstalling it? RE: Sceen Problems - Antho - 27-06-2014 Looks like some sort of opengl rendering issue to me. What gpu do you have and could you post your r_ cvars here? It might be fixable by changing render settings. (EG. Triple buffering, or detailtextures, trilinear/bilinear filtering) E: What OS do you use? RE: Sceen Problems - Chuck - 28-06-2014 indeed might look like an opengl rendering problem, or its driver could be damaged or even in worse scenario's a the opengl extension has been broken on the graphic card. but always make sure its not your ET by installing a 2nd ET somewhere else and connect to vietnam with that ET to see if its fixed. If not its your graphic card for sure, there are benchmarks where you can test your gpu performance. both with DirectX hardware acceleration or the acceleration of OpenGL. if the above solution didnt helped try deleting your drivers and reboot and install a fresh set of drivers. If that doesn't work it gotta be a broken gpu. |
