Hey,
people who are in clan longer might remember, that we had several tries with minecraft.
The game itself is played by many of us, but we always were in need to find a good mod in order to set up our server.
We had our first try with Tekkit. We also had a cracked launcher, so everyone was able to play. However, it seemed the full Tekkit mod was a bit too difficult to understand, so that only a few "pros" played it for some time.
After Tekkit failed and was empty for a long time, we took the server again and made it FTB lite. Feed the Best lite was a small modpack, so (unlike tekkit) it could also be played by people who did not have a huge computer waiting to be used for minecraft. However, we later found out there does not seem to be an easily working cracked launcher.
So, people say 3rd try is the best right?
But before starting just another server, we would like to ask you guys for your opinion.
Which not too big modpacks with a cracked launcher are there you would like to play?
Or would you even be fine with a Vanilla Server that gets updated to the newest versions step by step?
Im awaiting your answers. In the end, we will surely find a good way to make an awesome minecraft server that can be visited and played on by all of us

Hexxit it pretty nice, its not huge and its easy to understand.

The fellowship, but dont think that there is a cracked launcher for it since have a void launcher.
Vanilla server would be nice as well

I like Minecraft but I get bored playing it alone xD With others It's quite fun :P adventuring, hunting, mining there's loads also could do some PvP tournaments just to add a bit of fun to those who like that sort of thing, maybe build competitions too. There's a lot of creative stuff I don't know if you done this in the past, if not here's some ideas if you make a vanilla server :P I'd try and play on it a lot if others do too :P

I agree Hexxit is a nice mod also alot to do and fun aswell :P

Normal survival without items like "pay to win".
Vanilla please. And non-premium. Make something that I can enter your server from any launcher.

You should try Big Dig. It's not too confusing and it has a lot of mods FTB and Tekkit has (uses same launcher as Tekkit)

That is actually legally forbidden by the End User License Agreement Mojang released recently.

What do you mean from any launcher?
I'm all in for FTB Ultimate, but we'd need a member base which would visit the server regularily...
Having the Hungergames / Survivalgames (w.e.) would be fun for an event in TWC but again, it needs members and a setup.
Somewhat more of a mod themed event option would be the FTB Pax East Challenge map and it doesn't require everybody to be online at the same time.
Truth is, you need a good member base for every kind of Minecraft server and I haven't seen anyone being as active on our Minecraft server as on our ET servers.
P.s. Mimus we'll have to do some Agrarian Skies together
(Once I get the FTB launcher to function) (I did buy Minecraft)
