minor lagspikes (archived by Mimus) - UnrealNames - 09-04-2014
Hey,
So now I realized I'm getting minor lag spikes, like every 5 seconds the game freezes for half second or something.. It's really annoying when in gunfight etc. So anyone could help me with that?
It isn't with my internet, or with pc. At least I think i7 and gtx 760 should be enough for ET
And none of the other games lag, the problem is only with ET. Or should I reinstall or remove profiles?

I have a i7 with GTX650 OCv1 by MSI but i haven't got any minor lags, so you might try reinstalling a fresh ET(backup your ETkey).
There were few more people in the past with same problem but i kinda forgot how to solve it but i thought this was a way to do it.
Altho you could try removeing the profile folders first.

the servers are buckling, i used to be able to get a stable ping (and i know it was high but it never lagged)
now i just lag out of nowhere

It's not with server, it even lag on main menu. I will try reinstalling a chance, hopefully it works.

ohh i had that problem, you have to reinstall ET and delete ALL old data before reinstalling.

or just use enemy territory legacy has all the latest bugfixes and works like a charm on ND

install it, copy your etkey and cfgs in \Users\YOUR NAME\Documents\WolfETL\etmain and you're ready to go

Thanks for help, however I already got it fixed by just reinstalling the game!
