Running ET brutally slowed down after updating AMD Catalyst (archived by Mimus) - Butcher - 10-03-2014

Hi Mates,

Please help my, I am heavily sucking Normal.

My FPS was unstable, I had several laggs at times when others did not and thought I would update AMD Catalyst. I have a Sapphire Radeon HD 5750 type video card with 1 GB RAM. My ET ran smoothly for long time I just experienced lagg for 1-2 weeks, my PC config is quite hard: quad-core AMD CPU, 8 GB RAM, Windows 7 64bit OS.

And after updating to the lates version of AMD Catalyst (February 2014, V 13.12c) running my Wolf ET brutally slowed down, almost halted: 1-5 FPS, screen hardly moves, sounds with breaks...Normal

Can you please someone advise me, what tweakings I should do to restore ET performance? There are some Games/3D settings in Catalyst Control center, but I don't know at all, if or how I should change factory settings...

install previous driver? amd is putting drivers that need to fix even new games, that are unstable as well, so im not surprised old ones goes even worse. an easy solution is installing olders drivers, until you need to update them.

That's the magic tool, 4fuN and Nirv, good finding, thanx a lot: /seta r_primitives 2

Game is now running smoothly. During searching for solutions I found this useful site:

Thank you too, Andre.
