Fast TWC server connect - a TEAMMATE - 10-11-2013 Here is is a simple script to connect to another twc server while already playing without using console and letting ppl know where are you going (=publicity to other twc server which is always good): F9 = ND F10 = Vietnam F11 = Headshot F12 = Carnage I have put the servers which i play the most, but you can edit it as you want. Code: // -TWC Server Binds
// No Download
bind F9 "vsay bye I'm going to ^4-^7TWC^4| ^4N^7o ^4D^7ownload^2, bye!; wait 100; connect nd.twcclan.org"
// Vietnam
bind F10 "vsay bye I'm going to ^5-^7TWC^5| ^5V^7ietnam^2, bye!; wait 100; connect vietnam.twcclan.org"
// Headshot
bind F11 "vsay bye I'm going to ^e-^7TWC^e| ^eH^7eadshot^2, bye!; wait 100; connect hs.twcclan.org"
// Carnage
bind F12 "vsay bye I'm going to ^2-^7TWC^2| ^2C^7arnage^2, bye!; wait 100; connect carnage.twcclan.org"RE: Fast TWC server connect - Benji - 10-11-2013 Nice idea, I saw you are already using this systeme

bind kp_home vstr SPconnectRE: Fast TWC server connect - a TEAMMATE - 11-11-2013 Yeah, with dns address is even better but I left it out because if you use it outside TWC server you are spamming another server ![]() But yes, it's better this way... should be in every member cfg! RE: Fast TWC server connect - Bread - 11-11-2013 What would be even better is if you used the actual IPs, incase the domains go down. Unfortunately, I don't know them. I modified your script a little, as ''bind key vsay bye text'' alone doesn't have capital letters. With the use of vstr, it does. RE: Fast TWC server connect - a TEAMMATE - 11-11-2013 Even better would be if after saying i'm going to etc etc it automatically says !clansite in silent mode (like /!clansite in console). But i think it's not possible? It is possible. bind key !command <args> for example: bind key !kick chris sexy Now if you don't have silent commands (doesn't matter in EnhMod): bind key say !kick chris sexy RE: Fast TWC server connect - a TEAMMATE - 11-11-2013 Code: set VMconnect vsay bye ^7I'm going to ^5-^7TWC^5|^7Vietnam: vietnam.twcclan.org ; wait 100 ; !clansite; wait 100 ; connect vietnam.twcclan.orgso this would work? Unfortunately, I don't know them. It's actually more likely that the IPs change, than the domain names being down. In any case, though, you can look up the IPs with any DNS lookup tool (hint Google). -- Ligustah |
