Server IPs (archived by Chris) - 4FuN - 21-08-2013

Hi there fellow members

As you may think, it is not easy to see server IPs on the forum, via that 'sliding server indicator ' right side of the web site.My suggestion here is very simple by turning that indicator to much more simplier one that does not slide and IP is shown under the server's name without any further action like moving mouse over the server name.So anyone could see IPs easily, especially the ones who are seeking for a server to play on.

I thought about this idea when I had suggested our server to an old friend, I couldnt remember the ip so I gave him our forum's adress to make him see it but he couldnt find it as easy as he thought.

If IPs are being shown on somewhere else too than the indicator, then I'D be ashamed =)

The indicator is from Trackbase. One benefit of the 'sliding server indicator' is that you can see how many players / the map / as well as who are playing. If you were to just show the ip, people might miss out on that.

What I would propose is to make a separate webpage showing the different servers, the maps, and so on... ( http://et.rapidhail.pl/ -> I'm not sure if it is owned by Prime Squadron or if it can be used to show TWC servers. My guess would be that it can modified as there exists http://ll.rapidhail.pl/ { Yeah, 4Fun would remember this Tongue } ).

Looked up PS forum topics, and it seems one of their High Admins (RapidHail) designed / hosts it. So if you guys want to go ahead with that, you might want to talk it out with him.
