Teamspeak 3 (archived by John) - Old J.R. - 17-03-2012
This week I had time to play ET again, and I reinstalled my Teamspeak 3 too. I was suprised when I couldn't connect to the TWC server.
If it is on so I missed something then the topic is pointless, otherwise I would like to suggest to turn it on. I know it is mostly empty, but I remember when Vietnam was born the Teamspeak server was active and it worked well while everyone spoke English.
Personally I think it is more than good for the community and it is necessary for the LMS, ETPro and scrim team work.

No search result on gametracker/tsviewer when searching TWC so I guess they were removed/turned off.

It's not running simply because nobody asked for it and it doesn't auto-start,
so it went offline after the last server restart (like two months ago).
I restarted it, fixed some settings and added a hacky, but working, template to
the panel, so John can easily start/stop it.
We can also add it to a specific account there, but I leave that decision to John.

You mean that roster with members which should be done on our forum? Well, maybe yes but the work on this roster wasn't even started - John and Ligustah are too busy (?) and I'm a newbie to PHP, don't know how to do the MySQL query/ies.
But if the roster will be ever made then I guess it'll possible to add TS status, at least with banners http://www.tsviewer.com/index.php?page=userbanners However, you'll need to fill out a profile field with TS name (just like XFire) to be shown.
