Hi,
Many times during all these years various people have brought up the idea of closing TWC, when activity was bad or other problems struck our community. Many other people have predicted death to TWC.
All these times I said it, and I would like to repeat it now:
I will not close TWC. I will keep it running as long as people keep having fun with it. As long as members feel bound to this community I will invest my time and my money into it, because it means a lot to me personally, just as it does to the other supremes and many of its members.
Only for you to get an idea of what this means, I'd like to mention just how much we (mostly John and me, like 20% by various donators) paid for this clan only in the last three years.
That'd be 36 * 60€ * 0.8 => 1728 €
And it must have been close to that in the other two years, which was mostly covered by Joint and Mayhem.
This is just how serious we are about this. Even if it may often seem like we don't care, it's mostly because we're busy people. If we didn't care about this clan, why would we spend so much money on it?
That is why we delegate most of the work. This is a community project and everybody can have a part of it.
Of course it's sad to see so many trusted members leave in such a short period of time, but it's certainly not the first time this is happening. Being a server supreme can be very frustrating at times. But it's also an opportunity. It means other members will get a chance to prove themselves.
If everybody supports the newly chosen supremes I'm sure TWC will thrive. I'm not being naive here. I know the game is old and new players are rare, but that's not what all this is about. It's about having fun.
And just as long as you keep having fun, we will provide you with the place to have it at!

PS:
I'd like to make another point. If any of the new supremes should feel like being a supreme is not much fun, you are of course free to resign. Nobody will hate on you for that. Moanraker mentioned that to me just the other day. When he was appointed supreme quite some time ago he soon noticed that it wasn't quite what he liked to do, so he went back to status quo.

TWC have 5 years old, why it couldnt be alive next 5? :P Untill there are some ppl & MSTs don't lose theirs minds - It can stay alive long long...

It's all about having fun and as long as we all have fun, this community will stay alive.
People were worried about the fact TWC would die, good that you told him how TWC is going and your motivation to keep it alive.
Sad to see loyal members leave us, but we're still one family at all. No matter what happens, keep that in mind!

As I have said in another post, members have come and gone. Some great members and some not so great members have removed the TWC tags and went on to other things. Once a whole server of members were kicked banned or left on their own and the TWC as well as the server survived.
It wasn't because of anything that Joint and I did to salvage things after that, it was 100% because of the members of TWC who stepped up and turned a bad thing into something even better than it was before.
I see that now from a few members and it is encouraging to see. Even our quite humble and quiet Lig has come out of the shadows in support of both TWC and you guys, the members.
Sure there is always a transition period after a new Supreme replaces and old one and now we get to see how it goes in many servers at the same time.
I am confident that you, the members who have patiently waited your turn, will succeed as well as the ones your are replacing.
We say good bye to some outstanding members and at the same time we say Hello to the future outstanding members. Because each of the Supremes who have left were at one time like all of you. Simply, members who stepped up and impressed us and earned their shot at running a server.
Now we all get to watch the new team of Supremes make each server a fun place to be. While we keep in mind that one day each one of them will follow the others and move on to other things, knowing that there are very capable candidates waiting in line to fill their shoes as well.
So I hope it is clear to all who are worried, the only thing to RIP, is the idea that TWC will close because of something like this.

We know that many Best Supremes left but atleast We should know what will happen in future..
Whoo,TWC will not close and yeah i heard many pplz saying RIP TWC or TWC has come to death but Never.
