Scheduled downtime - Ligustah - 13-03-2013
Hi,
I'd like to do some upgrades and software changes on the server running this forum.
So it will most likely be down sometimes today and/or tomorrow.
Should any of the upgrades fail I might need to restore the server from one of the backups. The next backup job will run in about an hour, so any posts made after that might be lost during such a process.
So please make sure not to make super important posts, or save copies of those on your computer to be able to re-post them.

Probably will be easier for me to reply rather than Lig updating his original post.
As I read what he has said in Shoutbox, the updates have failed and he has installed a backup from some 10 hours ago. I see some replies in many topics didnt make the cut. So you all will need to re-reply :P JUst be sure to copy and save them. Especially if you wait till tomorrow to do it.
I understand that Lig will make an attempt again tomorrow, so please bear with him. Many of you may have noticed that an update will surely help.

I will most likely go for another attempt sometime around 20:00 CET.
This time I'll go for a completely new installation, so the forum will be inaccessible for at least two hours. No posts made before downtime will be lost.

All upgrades have been applied to the forum server.
It seems to run much faster now, but I will continue monitoring everything to see how it performs.
Also, please don't mind any interruptions for the next few days, as the infrastructure has been completely changed.
I am, however, confident that things will run smoothly.
