Basic 01 - Simple binds - John - 21-02-2012 Basic 02 - Advanced binds 1 Since this is you're first tutorial on making a CFG you should know how to save it: First you open a textfile with notepad or notepad++ Then you make you're cfg (explained how to in the following tutorials) and save it as name.cfg in your etmain of your wolfenstein installation. name can be any name you want to. Wolfenstein automaticly executes the following file: autoexec.cfg so saving it as autoexec.cfg in your etmain is a good thing to do: You don't have to execute your cfg on startup. Now to create a very simple cfg with 2 binds you need to write the following in the .cfg file bind key say "Text" bind means its a bind (duh) key you need to bind a key to use it, most of the cfg users use their F-keys to bind stuff to say "Text" this says Text, say will just shout out everything between the 2 "s to say Hi! when you press F3 you should have this in your cfg: autoexec.cfg Code: bind F3 say "Hi!"Thanks for reading the first part on how to make a cfg!
