RE: Reducing PsA meeting duration - Paul - 23-01-2017 @Cross, enlighten me. @Master , you already know the reasons :P RE: Reducing PsA meeting duration - The Master - 23-01-2017 tired of the drama,s and wanted to put focus on bg only so ye basicly didnt care anymore
RE: Reducing PsA meeting duration - Impact - 23-01-2017 Okay just stop this, all of you. This is turning into personal attacks only, rather than PsA. If you would like to say something that actually has something to do with the matter at hand, go ahead. If not, just keep it to yourself. RE: Reducing PsA meeting duration - Snowman - 23-01-2017 - idk why you are bringing here about my hate about you shock? i havent now wrote anything about you, i just try to tell psa leaders how psa is failing atm when they dont see it themselves. - meaga, you still keep acting like you dont understand anything, i expected a lot more from you... some time ago there was always 20+ people on psa events, now for over a month only bg gets about 20 people on events and other servers have like a few as we have seen. so theres totally something happened... if you dont understand... i just dont know anymore how to explain it you RE: Reducing PsA meeting duration - Impact - 23-01-2017 Okay i'm just gonna close this thread until somewhere tomorrow. Hopefully everyone cooled off a bit by then and we can talk like normal people. RE: Reducing PsA meeting duration - Impact - 25-01-2017 The thread is open again, for normal discussions only. RE: Reducing PsA meeting duration - Storch - 25-01-2017 Even though I'm not related to Psa these days I would like to say something. To me it seems that there are still way too many personal conflicts involved in all this. There is one party kind of anti-Psa and one party pro-Psa. Both tend to attack each other personally, without constructive criticism and without any sign of self-criticism. Everything the other party says is simply wrong. Why don't you try to come up with facts / something constructive to work with for a change? Let's look at the memberlist of Psa for instance: Meagain: Beginners Impact: TJ (yet also kinda half BG I'd say) Coffee: HS Vicky: HS bloxje: Beginners Sky: All Fernando: Beginners Revauld: TJ (though inactive I guess) Sway: ND NightSky/Nightmare: ND (inactive?) Opte: Beginners In sum: Beginners: 4 HS: 2 TJ: 2 ND: 2 + Sky So there actually is a clear majority of BG people, especially if you take the two inactive guys from two other servers into consideration. About the Psa meetings themselves I can't say much. Maybe someone should try to check the Psa meetings everyday and see where and how many people are there. In that way you would actually have something to back up your statements Furthermore, you should perhaps consider recruiting more (active) members from other servers than BG. Oh and as it was mentioned here before, Psa members should realize that playing in an empty server or in a server with only few people is the 'sacrifice' (if you wanna use dramatized language) that members Psa have to take in order to get those badly visited servers more active. Simply joining the most active or popular server every evening should not be the job of a Psa member. If you can't stand playing in low visited servers, perhaps Psa is not the right thing for you. Cheers^^ RE: Reducing PsA meeting duration - Coffee - 25-01-2017 Nice! I've been an (inactive) PsA member for quite some time now, but every time I can be there I wanna be there to at least speak to the people and play a bit. I realize that my opinion here might be out of place because I'm inactive, but.. what the hell kappa. The system has in my opinion not failed. Changing the ending time to nothing is not a bad thing. But giving it to people who don't actually care or cannot bring up the discipline to be there for longer than 30 minutes, yes it could be bad. Mixing your personal opinion and connecting it to you being a member of PsA is not going to work. It should not matter if you don't like a certain person or if you dislike the mod or the server itself. I personally think it's selfish to bring that up again and again. Even more in the servers where guests might even think TWC members dislike their own servers. Not really a good first impression. You signed up for (imo at least 30 mins of) gameplay on a server to boost the activity of the server. I would suggest to have more contact between the HA's/supremes of the servers and the administrators of PsA. The members of the server and the members of PsA could hand out a lot of information about the meeting, was it good or was there some struggles? Are there maps being skipped? Did we actually have guests that might want to join so we can see who to push and direct to the forums, etc. I believe PsA was all about this. If the connection between the HA's and PsA is missing, or not working out because of inactivity of all of them for example, I believe the server would not have much profit of having a PsA team over all the time. Not that it is not worth the time, but it would be... well more or less useless imo. This could be on a weekly basis to stay tuned on the activity. And if there is nothing to notice then it will be a short PM, taking up only two minutes of your week :P. The amount of members would have to grow to keep something like this up. Then all of the PsA members would also have some time to 'breathe' instead of thinking they have to attend every meeting in order to show that it is an active team. If the amount of members would be double as what we have right now, it woud be much much easier to enjoy being a PsA member and not feel forced anymore. That would certainly boost some happiness in the servers I hope. But.. again, I am also inactive myself and this requires quite some active PsA regulators (Impact and Meagain are so I see a change to make this work..!). I hope you all feel not offended by this small evaluation/suggestion and that you could maybe use it. I honestly do :P. Hugs! ----- Storch n I typing some shit at the same time by accident, sorry for mentioning things twice kappa RE: Reducing PsA meeting duration - Impact - 25-01-2017 Well said Coffee. And Storch, we do have a PsA activity table where you can see all of the people that attended the meetings. Ah right, forgot about this. Where is it actually? Couldn't find it. But maybe it would be useful to note the overall activity of the server at Psa meetings too, instead of only the activity of Psa members. In that way you could also adjust the schedule, possibly leave out well visited servers a few times and put the focus on the less visited ones. |
