Hardcore? You know, this server is fresh. The highest amount of players was 5. Ppl are not ready yet, they have to make better armor. Now, everybody is dying becouse of zombies or skeletons on desert. We don't want empty server in one hour.
Well, Treecapitator has got actualisation, and now when you are chopping the tree, it is very hard and takes a lot of time.
higher tree=longer you will chop
And please, enable commands /spawn, /setspawn etc. ASAP, becouse I need them very much and I think I am not alone.

Duka, I didn't say I want hardcore, I just said I like it, without any special mods.

Okay guys, we now have anti grief, setspawn etc.
Mods seem to be too un-agreed upon as to now implement some.
dynamap seems to be to huge and crashy.
How would you like to handle landclaiming? As of now, we do not have a landclaiming for everyone. We can choose from various options:
You come to an admin of the server (currently lig and me) and we set land for you
You set your own land
You can change your claimed land
Admins change claimed land
How much land is there to be claimed by a single person?
Can people claim more land and build together?
Can you claim more than one piece of land?
Have more than one piece of land touch each other?
How deep and high does a land claim go?
etc etc
discuss it :P

My opinion would be:-
1)Set my own claim by myself with a golden shovel tool
2)I can resize,delete,detect my own land
3)idk at this point but a person should have claiming points to create more bigger land
4)Yes they can claim more unless they are trusted by a claim owner to build together
5)Unfortunately if they have the points but idk :s
6)1st Claimed Land and 2nd Claimed can't touch each other
7)Till the bedrock to the top of the sky xD

Basically I was in another server and learned alot about claims and protections,
I used to make golden shovel as my tool(no one likes golden shovel) to make it as my Claiming tool for creating claims...How to create a claim is that you should mark the 1st and 2nd corner with ur golden shovel(You should not drop or swap your golden shovel when u r in a state of creating a claim otherwise its going to be denied),It depends on how much number of blocks u want to claim..
For example 10X10 or a rectangle,once your done with creating a land..You will see golden blocks and glowstones marked around the land that u claimed to make sure that which place is land claimed and which is not,U will also not have permission to break/do actions on another guy's place which already he/she himself claimed his/her own land or I can say "Protection/Greif Prevention"
You can use stick as a tool to check which place is protected/claimed by right clicking on the block(If u don't know where your claim is then use the stick,might be helpful to detect claims),
If you want to share your land/claim with a friend then try to use this cmd: /trust (freind)
To delete singe claim, try /abandonclaim
To delete all of your claims try to /abandonallclaim
To resize your claim,Use the stick and right click on the ground/block where your claim/land is present and its going to show a marked area with glowstones and golden blocks around you,So go to the corner of your claim and use your golden shovel again and right click on the corner of ur claim with golden shovel and resize...the more you resize big..the more you lose no. Of claiming blocks/points...The more you delete claims or resize smaller,the more u will gain no. Of claiming blocks/points.

Well this is what and how I do in the other server and the claiming rule goes in this type of way..
In the other server, The claim areas are preventing the pvp and if u go outside the claim area...ur dead..(But basically we will not have pvp unless Lig or Mimus suggests about it)
Although its not necessary to call an admin for Home protection and claim land,its better that a person can learn and do the claim by himself,Why isn't it necessary for an admin to make claim for others?
Because if the admin is offline or kinda busy,the player starts to panic and maybe he will get greifed and cry alot xD.
