RE: Planning to get new computer - Clysma - 04-10-2014

I still dont know do I want to build it myself. And should I wait for new GTX?

RE: Planning to get new computer - Andre - 05-10-2014

For sure now, for the money of the gtx 770 in your build (267 € ), you can grab easily the gtx 780 Wink. keep in mind that new gpu will cost around 350 € btw.

the 780 for 260 € is damn good.

RE: Planning to get new computer - Clysma - 06-10-2014

What is the difference between GTX 900 and GTX 700- series?

E: Oh, seems like they are little bit better and price is up to 100 euros more.

E: Please, can someone make me a WHOLE rig now and take a screen cap of it or something Biggrin Im really struggling through these parts and all. I would appreciate it!

here you go:

few considerations:

as you may see, i changed the mother board, to a bit better one and put up the i5 4690. i didn't manage to find the power supply that is in the build they made to you, so i put up a similar one ( a little bit more better). finally i changed the OS. since they choosed the German windows 7 ( that obv cost less), i prefered to put the English version, since unless you have the ultimate version of windows 7, you can't change the language. i thought you know better english than german, but if its not, just change it to the german one Tongue i have actually no clue if there is a finnish version of windows, and btw they have french, german, spanish , english and italian ones.

Yes, indeed I know english better. There are finnish versions for Windows. :P

I actually have only one question, why did you choose to put GTX 770, when there is better(?) GTX 900- series available? And one more, this should run Adobe programs well, too?

Really much appreciate your help, btw. Thanks for that!

E: Atleast, according to this source: http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-970-vs-GeForce-GTX-770

RE: Planning to get new computer - Andre - 08-10-2014

Couse you said around 1000 euros Tongue obvisly if you can go more there is a lot more better Tongue

that comparison is true, the 970 is way better than the 770, thats why it cost 100 euro more. yet the 970 is the best bang for bucks . 100% sure of that.

if you can add 100 euros more then replace the 770 i put with this:

http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/4096MB-MSI-GeForce-GTX-970-Gaming-4G-Aktiv-PCIe-3-0-x16--Retail-_976948.html

and yep, it runs adobe programs quiet well, especially if you put them in the ssd.
