reinstall W:ET and dont press the "play online" button. Just use /connect IP or use external tool (e.g. HLSW) to connect to the servers. If u want to have a closer look to the problem u can join 999 discord channel. They investigated what happend.

Could you link me the Discord channel? I'm curious about this, btw i've already tried reinstalling ET and doing what you said but it didn't work, i can connect to every Server except TWC ones LEL.

This should be a general problem not just for TWCServers ... Good luck with fixing this T_T we miss u in ND :/
Another fix could be a switch to ETLegacy...

Same for me, it started showing again that server redirecting message but i don't care since i connect with /connect or via TWC menu, still don't know the reason of this but hey, glad to be back :P

This is caused by some scriptkiddie hackerman that is exploiting an old ET bug where you can spoof infoResponse packets. This is fixed in EtLegacy, but remains a bug in ET.

He is hosting a server that's sending a spoofed infoResponse packet that then triggers the redirect message whenever the "Play Online" menu is accessed (because it queries the damn info of servers.)

Here is the entire investigation 999 aka EtJump team did in their Discord. This also includes the guy who is doing it meming about it, + showed screenshots of the exploit etc.
(Note: this .jpg is 3.55MB @ 590 x 17466 px, which is why I won't be embedding it. And the board would resize it anyways)
