APPROVING AND ASKING to install the Xmas Minimod (1 MB file) to ND asap, after they considered the pros and cons.
So I ask you Chuckie-boy, what or who the h3ll are you waiting for and why don't you make the install?

Chuck is right, looking at the general meaning of nd ( NO download). However, that usually just means we do not want to add a bunch of downloadable maps which takes minutes, if not hours to dl it.
Ofc you can take things really strict in detail, but we have seen several times this does no good. E: someone acts not according the rules, but we do not instantly kick or ban, but look at arguments and reasons and try to find the right way, and not just the rules way.
Since nd has 3 supremes now, its first of all a matter of what do they say? There have been lots of discussions about installing he minimod or not. We already found a middle way (not installing all the maps or even one, but just the minimod). It seems, the question of minimod yes/no is a HUGE decision. That means, members should decide in a poll, aight?
Its actually the members who keep the server alive, ofc together with guests. Supremes and ha are members, and have all started as lowlvlers. So, why not ask this whle bunch of members of nd, if they want to have this minimod in THEIR server?
Just make a poll and ask them

I'm afraid if you wait all or most ND members to vote, you only will be able to install this minimod by Easter or the next Christmas
. Democracy is highly appreciated in other questions, though it looks like to ask someone if he/she would like to receive Christmas gift. The issue here is not about the wishes I think, but about conecpt and consequences. So a poll only would cause loss of time.I think those leaders of ND might make the decision who are well aware of its technical side (download by guests etc.) and ND concept and are able to judge its advantages and outcomes. And so I suppose Supremes and HAs might be far enough.

Although not everyone will vote, Im sure a poll gives, even if it only last for one or maybe 2 days, a general sight of what people want.

It currently is on the nodownload server till ~ 3 january. I resized the 1 mb file to 576 kb.
