Very nice, Poseidon, just keep up with restarting the scanner until it runs for long time then continue it with the installer UpdateInstaller.exe in the Client folder os WSUS. It also has to be restarted more times, as you will see the messages (some) "Updates could not installed" - but this is the normal Windows operation when some updates cannot be installed at the same time/procedure and the installataion must be re-run then.
