It's probably this. If you see a message that you are banned, it should show a player name. If you tell us the name we can remove the ban.

GUAWAR, in capitals :P It didn't help how Toma already tried to unban me in-game by my ID? I quitted the game after that and tried again. Got a "failed to reconnect" at first and then a ban-sign in my face
Unfortunately I cannot take a screeny of it as my shortcut keys don't work in ET.

He was banned about two weeks ago for cheating apparently. I think the ban can be removed (assuming he wouldn't come back after so much time anyways, or use another GUID for that matter). I'll leave this up to ND admins, though.
I'm not sure if Jaymod on Mac is even capable of obtaining the real MAC address, so I guess it's very unlikely that your MAC as seen by the servers will ever change.

Solved! Thanks guys, I guess I'll need an un-ban everytime a MAC-user is cheating but yeah.. Let's just hope it's not happening every week :')

Not sure if Wine has it's own "internet adapter", if so that would explain the mac change... But not why that MAC belongs to a banned person
Also I'm not sure if the dev team fixed it, but you could try ETLegacy: https://www.etlegacy.com/download
(if for some reason the MAC gets banned again)
