Just want to point out that FTB Ultimate may not run well for those with low end PC's even though that sounds like a great idea :P

Yeah I agree with kenny some people maybe don't have money for better pc or MC.
Vanilla or Hexxit imo.

I'll also say Big Dig is way easier than the other mods, you spend lesser time gathering resources, and more time playing with machines (You can even go on the moon!)

All i can say is just start with Vanilla.
Vanilla..is the best for minecraft.
Once u make vanilla...i will be 24/7 in ur server
So i choose vanilla,
It would be better if these plugins are added on vanilla

i host a bukkit server for a friend of mine :P, with tons of plugins like dynmap(livemap, AuthME(kinda like security for cracked players so nobody can steal their stuff by just logging with their name
.And its still building up. i won't advertise for it here but people can ask me for the ip if they want to check it out sometimes

Still waiting for the promised mod API so Mods and Bukkit plugins can go together easily.

what kind of mods you are talking about, ik some of them are very easy to implent them. like minigames or something else not sure.
I just started hosting this server, still learning stuff about MC every day

It actually has been forbidden ever since the first EULA was published. In fact they only added more legally viable options for server hosters to make money with. (AFAICT)

Ok so,
Since the New TWC Minecraft Vanilla has been made, Ligustah has all the controls for this server,
So Some few important things are missing in the server, i would say my suggestion and my idea..
1)Spawn Point should be enabled
2)Greif Prevention plugin=U can make ur own claim and its going to be protected from greifing and mobs
3)Sethome should be enabled
