Creakie in this situation you don't have right.

RE: complaint Creak - Schaapje - 20-02-2013

Creak is right, just saying...

RE: complaint Creak - John - 20-02-2013

Spawnarea kills are not allowed with heavy weapons, it doesn't matter if the mortar is inside or outside the area, as long as the person is in het spawnarea and gets killed you're wrong.

We like it that you play in our servers Krok, but the way you are talking to us is inappropriate.
If you don't like our rules then find a different server to mortar, and see how they react to mortars there!

i agree with creak, getting hit in the spawn (or die) by heavy sk is not allowed...

RE: complaint Creak - Sun - 20-02-2013

Okay , maybe the post of the spawnkilling areas need an update,
I'm not seeing a picture and the marks of the spawn we're talking about?

RE: complaint Creak - Creak - 20-02-2013

I think it's good to do that.

tomorrow i have some time

RE: complaint Creak - D@rk - 20-02-2013

Creak handled right, I understand it seems confusing whether u are allowed to "hit" in the spawn but "land" outside of the spawn.

As john says, which is a simple rule, if u hit inside the spawn you're wrong. No discussion about that.

RE: complaint Creak - Destroy666 - 20-02-2013

Firstly, to prevent such situations, I recommended a long time ago doing better screenshots. Compare for example EAs topic(s) to ours - walljump, spawnkilling. A lot more clear.
From our screens I still have no idea where you can't shot arty in fueldump, as the line is just weird and 50% warn me for shooting on gate, 50% say it's allowed.

Secondly, I think some wjs are too harsh. For example jumping on the right wall in oasis when Allies have captured flag. On every map if someone cares about rulebreakers there are at least 10 splats in that spot. And it doesn't really help with objective.
Another example - battery window. This however helps with obj, but I can try to make a mapscript which blocks the window for Allies if ramp isn't build.

And lastly, counting the splash damage isn't a good idea either. As long as it hits the allowed are, why bother to splat if splash damage was 10 centimetres behind the line. Does that really change anything except you can !splat someone? That's only confusing nitpicking.

RE: complaint Creak - D@rk - 20-02-2013

It's more like that if you can just let the "splashdamage" get inside the spawn you can easily block one spawn to prevent them from doing any obj at all.

The battery mapscript idea sounds really good, there is always alot of discussion about that in-game.
