Dudes,
I ask you to make English in main chat rule clear. The overall TWC rules state that:
1. Only English should be used in chat. If you wish to talk in any other language, please do it through other forms such as private fireteam, private message, etc.
if you click on ND rules in game the rule 7 tells you that "Only Egnlish in main chat"
I think the English in main chat rule covers or should cover all publich chats (maybe except fireteam chat) like thge overall TWC rules say, so both MAIN chat AND TEAMCHAT.
it is very unfriendly or unpolite to people in the other team and in your own team if you speak any other language that they don't know. They may feel like staying out from something or just being ignored.
What do you think?
The reason for that clearance is that today Smiley and TUP (Tupakki...?) spoke for a long time Finnish and after I asked them to switch to English, they refused it, Tupa in a quite aggresssive, arrogant way.
I appreciate the contribution of Finnducks to the servers' activity and I like the most of them but wouldn't like to see that they ignore other players and their demands by speaking Finnish in teamchat, mainchat or they form Finnish teams only sometimes

Idk what happened there since i was not there but atleast i have been told that all languages are allowed in teamchat. And imo it should be kept that way.

As rarelly when i do and if i have to do it i speak finnish by pm/fireteam. I rly dont understand why its so hard to someone to follow braindead easy rule.

It seems that some people misinterpret overall TWC rules, so it would be fine to change ND in-game displayed rules to "Only English allowed in mainchat and teamchat" or "Only English allowed in public chat". The first version is more clear.

It doesnt need to be changed because you shouldnt feel ignored if people speak other language in team chat because they clearly are not talking to you. Just my opinion.

It's not that hard for anyone with even a slight amount of brainpower to understand public chat includes team chat, and private messages/fireteam chat are private chats. You get invited or apply for a fireteam, but you aren't going to change team dependant on the language spoken in the team chat. Same for private messages, you have a choice. In other words: Public - Chat visible without a clear choice = Global, Team chat. Private - Chat visible by a clear choice = PM, Fireteam chat.

Uhm, public, main or whatever chat doesnt include team chat. Like kokok and snowman said, you are allowed to speak non-english languages in team chat, it has always been like that, right?
