Yeah I quite agree with you there.
I think the classic Gold rush is overall the most loved map in ND, so there is no need to change it.

Only change to goldrush I would consider is changing it into the stopwatch version. Not planning on doing that however, because that would decrease its maplength. Which isn't necessarily a good thing.
People, don't forget that we try to carry out a classic/oldschool settings and map philosophy. Be it with a little more modern coating after adding pirates and venice. We try to distinguish ND from others by having mapscript changes and offering at least all oldschool maps.

Antho is that always going to stay like that, or will that ever change? The perspective of keeping all old school maps.

In my oppinion we should keep all the 6 classis maps.
For now we added Pirates and Venice.
I think we should not add more maps.
We should be lucky No Download is still doing so well. btw, why the namechange to the server? where there people complaining about it?
I saw something like No Download +2.

imo keep the old maps, i think a lot of players keep coming back because we play all the classic maps.
And with a setting everybody likes
i have to make the point,
On fuel dump why take the tank away from allied......
Its already a hard map to win for allied, they have no way to take cover on the side now wich makes it way to easy for axis.
Change that back to how it was please.

It was suggested a while ago and it's a pretty subtle change. Technically we got no download maps + 2 newer ones. Can change it back within seconds if people want me to
@Furion: It took like 2 years to convince people that adding one or two newer maps wouldn't hurt the server. No clue what is going to happen next really
@Blood: Moanraker is still working on something nice for that

I agree. Allies need the tank to take cover and the MG is also useful in some situations
