Looks like microsoft skipped 9 and have decided for 10 which is actually a "fusion" of Windows 7 and 8
And it would be available by the middle of next year.

For the first look, I think it will be no difference between 8 and 10.
But maybe they will add some accesories, I am not sure.

If we follow the current path that Microsoft has taken with its OS's, then I'm sad to say that W10 will be bad. Every 2nd OS that they make, is good. The good classical version that I'm sure all of us remember, WXP, was really good and comfortable. After that came the monstrosity that was WVista. After Vista came the brilliant W7 that is to me the best OS that Microsoft has made, up until this point. And after that came W8 which threw app's in your face like no one has ever done before. But I suppose if you like that sort of stuff then you liked it. Anyway here is the list so far: Windows XP(good) -> Windows Vista (bad) -> Windows 7(good) -> Windows 8(bad) -> Windows 9(which they somehow skipped over since clearly the number 10 comes after the number 8, should have been good by this logic) -> Windows 10(by this logic it should be bad). Just a piece of my mind for people to read if someone is interested.

I agree with u,
but to me I dont like the decoration that is performed in windows 8 like the one you said,throwing up colour square apps etc..but it does look good in windows phone,
tbh Windows 7 Ulitmate is always the best and will be.

Windows 7, the one and only. Heard that even the companies that usually get the latest OS version from Microsoft for theyr computers still use Windows 7 and never moved on to Windows 8. Or well just a few did for trying purposes but never moved on from there. Guessing that 90% or more still use Windows 7 as they should.

I've got Windows 10 Tech Preview as well as Windows 7 and overall it exceeded my expectations. So far so good I say. Let's wait if it gets better when they release it officially as a full version.

I have read that Windows 10 will be the last WINDOWS, after that Microsoft will create something new.
Next years should be fun. =D
