Programmers - Alduin - 10-11-2013
Hey TWC member,
It is a few days since I started learning to program and I was wondering if there are any one geeks around here that know some script stuff.
If there are, you can show your lil creations here in this topic if you want or just talk about what you like. (It would be funny to chat in script language :P)
So I learned about Command Prompt and Batch files, I have been more focused on Batch because I could be creative in many ways thanks to that.
I made like a little program that deleted temporary files on my computer.
And for the fancy stuff I made login screen. :P
Sooo, share your creations! Share you experience, or talk in script
So just to show you what a chat in .bat looks like:
@echo off
:start
echo Say 'hi' to my friend!
set /p chat:
if ''%chat%'' == hi goto a
if not ''%chat%'' == hi goto start
:a
echo Hello there, nice to meet you.
pause
Pretty easy uh?

Soooooooooo.... you have decided to learn the most unneeded stuff? Learn some real programming. Start with HTML or C/C++?

I'll do HTML later, I see this as more fun because I can shutdown other computers at school. I can open command prompt with a simple bat line, I can make viruses, I can hack passwords. As far as I know that's not possible with HTML. :P
Now I don't know anything about what C(++) is, I'll look it up.
Oh and BTW, I know, you can actually go much further with HTML but I thought let me get the ropes of scripting. :P

well u should start with an easy language like c#, pascal or/and java ofcourse :P

Are you serious? HTML is markup language (ML), not programming language. So, even if it's much more popular and necessary than batch nowadays, it's nowhere near programming...

I ment I can do it with batch if I learn it, not that I know it:P
About that virus, same with the line above but I made a scam if you want it
What I can do with scams is that I convert my bat into exe and make it ask you to run it as adminstrator. (So when I want to make a change, like in the line under here it works. If you don't run as admin it wont work)
What I can do next is delete files in your main drive and make your pc shutdown. :P

Php is one of the easiest and most helpful (for web). I learned it in like 1 month.
