I have an idea!

In Diablo 2, in second act players are in new town. The town is placed on the desert and it's very small.
It has got beautiful name - Lut Golhein. In Diablo 2 it means "heart of desert".

About the security thing with a backpack - why would someone be able to go on your chest? Once you have a claim, you can decide who can go there, open the chests, use stuff etc.

With the land claming using money and shop plugin - eh. Guess we needa talk this through. It is definitely a possibilty, but for "only" claims a bit overextended. However, if we would use it for other stuff too, it is a good idea i think.

For the spawn building I think we could build a temple in the desert, not the normal minecraft temple, but like our own version. Big and fancy. Maybe with pillars and for blocks use sandstone and some normal stone somewhere, maybe some clay and trees. Since our starter village is in a desert, we don't have many themes to choose from that go well with the desert. We could build the temple a bit away from the town and then have a road leading to it, so you kind of spawn in the temple and once you move out of it you see a little village where the people living in it go to the temple every now and again to worship something or pray to something or sacrifice a goat or whatever. Just my thoughts on it.

I find it pretty funny you don't want to add Essentials, as it's essential for a Minecraft server. You can disable the teleporting features of it if you want!

Yes its pretty important on this one, I already saw a server that had a claim plugin and when players connect through the server they are about have approximately 600-700 Blocks to claim and if they need to increase more claim block points they should buy it at shop with money,and from where they get that money is that they kill mobs,mine deeper,win races and games etc.
I am pretty sure if we add and vote this server in Planet minecraft and in any mc server list sites we could hopefully get custom players(if the server is about be done completely),
Oh and yes,Mimus will u setup /tp command too :3? its a teleport and its really helpful :P.

We now have installed the plugin GriefPrevention, it seems to work fine. Everyone of you can claim his own land (150 blocks in total) and set the permissions (who can build, use stuff, access chests) for his land.

In order to expand your land we will have to /cause its awesome/ add a money plugin, just as you people recommended Any favorite economy plugins you already have heard about or experiences with?

Also, spawn is now protected (the little hut). What about you guys throwing in some ideas about the future look of our spawn in this thread? http://board.twcclan.org/thread-4671.html

We now added Essentials/EssentialsEconomy in order to have a working money plugin that meets our requirements.

Im gonna give you a small briefing for those who are not familiar with Essentials, especially the Economy Part of it:

You will now have money ingame. You start with 100$, and can earn more money by selling stuff.
You either make signs to trade with other people


or you sell items to the server with the /sell command (e.g.< /sell hand > sells the item in your hand, but you can also use ids, names etc. and change the amount.

Using the sell command will sell certain items to the server, and you will only get "little" money for it.
There will also be admin shops, where u can sell stuff for a bit more money than you get with the /sell command, and where you, from time to time, can also buy things, but it will certainly be expensive.

The things you can sell atm to the server are:
diamondblock: 250.0
rawfish: 2.0
mossycobblestone: 15.0
slimeball: 10.0
ironblock: 100.0
cake: 5.0
goldblock: 150.0
lapisblock: 25.0
emeraldblock: 200.00
quartzblock: 50.0

The numbers tell you how much you get.

If you use player sign shops, you can choose the price etc. all by yourself, ofc.


You can use the money you gather either to buy stuff at player shops, to use certain commands (the /spawn command e.g. costs atm 500$ to use it once. You can also do /sethome and then teleport to your home with /home, but this costs 1000$ per use.) or to buy/sell landclaims (with buyclaim <amount> or sellclaim <amount>).

- Using kits (these are collections of stuff you can get from time to time, atm you can have a color-kit that gives you info about colour-codes to use in chat etc. and a firework-kit that gives you 3 different fireworks)
