First, a new HMS has not been appointed yet. If our MSTs would contact me about it as HS LDR I'd be happy to respond and maybe help decide about this matter.
Second, as Master said, a merge would be a waste. Making a combination would disappoint members which is imo something we cannot afford RN seeing the amount of active members we have in the servers that you wish to be merged.
The idea isn't very clear and I'm having a hard time picturing the servers in one and still have the aspects of each server pop out like it should. It would be a new concept and that would make the members that chose for a server/group here in TWC have to switch to a certain gameplay they might not even like. There is imo no way we can keep the shine of each server. We'd lose boundaries and have to come up with something the game is not made for.
The wishful outcome is good. New/more active members in one group. I'd cheer for that! But idk if this idea is THE idea. As you said in your PS:-part, I understand you want changes and feel like ppl are way to nostalgic about it, but it's ET... It's one pile of nostalgia.
In the end I'm trying to be as neutral as possible in this and only look at the practical stuff and benefits. If this is what people want, and if you can hand me a bit more ideas/clear image I'd be happy to, well, reconsider and see what we end up with.
