No Download Add a vote option to extend the current map. (archived by NightFall)

Hey all!

I've noticed that in the vote menu there is no vote option to extend the current map.

My suggestion is to add that option in to extend the current map by 10-15 minutes. The amount of times this vote may be used per map should also be 1.

The reason I suggest this, for me as a "fragger" kind of player who loves the big hectic battles and fights for objectives. Is to allow people to extend the fun they are having on that current map and also give the allies for example some extra time to get the 2nd goldcrate on goldrush or engineers to reach the fueldump.

I'm curious to everyone's opinion on this. Have a good day everyone!

i am not sure but the vote system is like 70/30 i think?

Unless enhancedmod provides a way to customise votes (i really doubt it does) i don't think it's possible in jaymod

Its a good idea but if we have some new maps like adlernest/ frostbite some nice maps that people like it

@Sky I have no idea about that, I will try to research it later if I have some spare time, anyone else who could give more information on that?

@kurd, I don't think we should be worried about it that much, extend votes is like any vote, the majority have to agree to extend the map. If most people at that current time don't enjoy the map(railgun) the extend vote won't even be called.

ref can change time aswell, so i think you can make a vote out off it aswell,
on those servers alot off vote stuff is disabled but i think with an original server it is even posible to vote a time set if i remember right.
so i also think a vote for more time would be possible.

but i am not sure, but i think some1 here knows for sure:P

This is more or less doable with some very hacky workarounds but I don't think it's worth the effort for a such feature.
