HS mod suggestions (archived by Cross)

Hey guys

since i've noticed that some ppl from HS , or from other servers mentioned it , complained about changing mods , i'd like to take suggestions , ideas for dealing this HS-only vs HS-normal situation. ( no this is not a drama thread , just some ideas , thoughts )

First of all : the mod schedule - it is supposed to be HS-Only on weekends and HS-Normal during the week. But it isnt being followed , so whats up with that ?

Secondly - about changing the mods , so since now only LDR , Supreme can set it , could we config changing the mod in the server with a vote for e.g ? and maybe without a restart ? cause its a bummer , although i dunno how hard to make that happen so could someone tell if its possible ?

My thoughts : we should remove this schedule since its not being followed , and make it changeable with vote , maybe add a few limits to not spam with the vote, or rethink the schedule - since its not being followed there should be ppl who responsible of setting it

what do you guys think ?

My opinion: let it just be hsonly because it is headshot server, and most of HS members like that more.

If thats not possible make that everyone could change hsnormal->hsonly or hsonly->hsnormal with a vote with like 30-60min timelimit. So some people couldnt spam vote it.

also the time between votes counts for all votes so if you make it 30-60 min it will also count for maps and stuff.

i think hs server is doing fine atm and alot of people enjoy playing it, but lets see what others think.

HS normal should be in a schedule imo, HS only has been there in a row for a hella long time, dont forget there are more people then just the hs members playing on HS to keep it active.

I don't mind playing HSonly, but playing it everytime for a long time just gets boring for some people, including me.
Hani made the schedule for a reason, right? And i agree, it has been neglected.

Having hsnormal doesnt change anything about it being a headshot servers, because if you havent noticed, headshots still one shot and do proportionally alot more dmg than bodyshots.

-It changes everything, you can get killed by weapon without getting hit on head. Which is stupid in headshot server (in my opinion).


But since this is Vicky's thread I dont wanna continue that here so to the point: it should be like that the majority of players in server should be in charge of selecting hsnormal/hsonly with vote.
If theres hsnormal and guest/member join there and dont like it, he wont be there for long. Same goes with hsonly ofc. Thats how we can keep it more active.

The only thing I see a problem with deciding it by vote is that will probably cause more problems than needed, maybe make a new schedule or if you still want to remove it at least limit votes :P

I don't think there is a problem with HS only or normal, but there is a problem by how its done.
I don't think any member of hs thinks its a problem to play hs normal once a time, but what happened today is that there were 5 votes to pass it trough.

i dont see the problem off that. this happend once now, why so much crying over 5 votes?
and the fact that it passed if just cause more people wanted it int he end i geus so what the big deal here?
if you wanne play hs only or normal hs and it doesnt happen at that moment just enjoy that what is on, or come back another day.

First of all, You cannot add a voting system that actually enables or disables HSNormal or HSOnly (Its because = Jaymod) .

2nd, Coffee is only one and shes busy irl to keep the gameplay of headshot only or headshot normal accurate in time according to the schedule.

3rd, 50% of the people doesnt like playing HSOnly.. the reason is that the hitboxes for shooting the head.. +No gren launchers and molotove

4th, Id like a suggestion that a supreme should make a poll if y"all want HSonly forever or follow the schedule'd time to find out the result.

5th, HS Needs to pick someone whos super active to perform and do the schedule stuff in time. Whether hes leader or not..
