ETJump ramps (archived by Change)

Hello,

Last few months, maybe talking about around 5 or 6 something is wrong.
When you reach a ramp (doesn't matter in which map) the ramp will decrease your speed when you approach the platform (different than normally).
When it's ice there seem to be no problem at all, but without; your screwd.
You must be really lucky approaching the ramp exactly at the spot where the platform goes up and you might be reaching the next platform.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

I have been thinking about it might be the latest ETJump 2.0.4 since that came out in March/April 2015.
It might be something else but I don't have a clue since I don't have enough knowledge about this.

It would be really nice if someone could take a look at this.

About adding maps, gamma_mill_b2/ 3 or 4 is it possible to be added and if so, would it be 'crash' proof since I've read somewhere on forums that these betas would crash the server?

First, I think they should update to ETJump 2.0.5. (released a month ago)
Secondly, we know that ET 300 is breaking some stuff, and thus is most likely the cause of your problems.

Until we switch to an other server (ETLegacy, Vanilla, etc..) this cannot be fixed.

We know about this problem for quite long. The thing is that we cannot fix it yet. ETJump is ok , we are just runing on wrong ET client i guess. There have been many report about this case from many players , not only from TWC. Sadly , i cant do anything about this :c

Can you name the maps you had this problem on ? I will have a look on them.

Afaik there is nothing to do except editing maps and make ramps icey but thats huge loads of work.

Dont know each ramp jump but if you could take a look at airmaxjumpsfinal both teams got one or two.
